غبطة

ملأت قلبها غبطةٌ صادقة.

malaʾat qalbahā ghibṭatun ṣādiqatun

Une joie sincère a rempli son cœur.

شعر الأطفال بغبطة كبيرة في يوم العيد.

shaʿara al-aṭfālu bi-ghibṭatin kabīratin fī yawmi al-ʿīdi

Les enfants ont ressenti une grande allégresse pendant la fête.

الغبطة أن تتمنى مثل نعمة غيرك دون زوالها عنه.

al-ghibṭatu ʾan tatamannā mithla niʿmati ghayrika dūna zawālihā ʿanhu

La ghibṭah, c’est souhaiter une bénédiction semblable à celle d’autrui sans qu’elle lui disparaisse.

لا حرج في الغبطة إذا خلت من الحسد.

lā ḥaraja fī al-ghibṭah idhā khalat mina al-ḥasad

Il n’y a rien à reprocher à l’envie bienveillante si elle est dépourvue d’envie malveillante.
